A Live Forum for exploring hidden evolutionary opportunities in a time of chaos.

What started as a global “pause” triggered by a deadly pandemic became a spotlight revealing many dysfunctional and inequitable underpinnings of our society. The ensuing struggle, triggered by a brutal act, continues between the forces for fundamental societal change and the defenders of the status quo. We are all participants, in one way or another, in this evolutionary turning point. How can we use this historic moment of crisis/opportunity to generate a giant leap forward for humanity?

Our special guest

Our guest speaker will be Michelle Reynolds . She will be talking about “ Black Lives Matter v. Police Brutality: How to reconcile opposing forces,”

Michelle Reynolds served as a law enforcement officer 25 years ago in Durham、NC。With dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Religion from the University of North Carolinal, Chapel Hill, Michelle’s experience bridges the two worlds of societal concerns and spiritual connection, having extensively studied metaphysics, Shamanism, Qigong, yoga Taoism and others spiritual traditions。Michelle will share some of her experiences and insights as a spiritually awake female officer, exploring the questions on everyone’s mind, “ What can We do, really? ”

Message from Michelle Reynolds:

“For any of us who were still blind to the pervasiveness of systemic racism, one of the gifts of a global pandemic is that we all slowed down long enough to have the scales removed from our eyes.  But being aware of dysfunction in the world is very different than implementing effective action for positive change.  I genuinely believe that most people care about this, but too many of us feel paralyzed by the powerlessness of our individual positions.  Too many of us are sitting at home asking ourselves (as we do about most of the disheartening situations we see on the news) “What can I do, really?”

Personally I am tired of feeling this way, and I would like to have a meaningful conversation with other people who feel the same.  My name is Michelle Reynolds, and 25 years ago I served as a law enforcement officer on the Durham Police Department.  I have dual degrees from UNC-CH in Criminal Justice and Religion.  For the last 16 years I have been a licensed massage therapist, life coach, and sports official.  In fact, I have spent the last 15 years training individuals as young as 14 how to successfully manage angry adults on the sidelines as soccer referees. I have also studied a wide range of metaphysics during this same period, as well as Shamanism, Qigong, yoga, Taoism, Tai Chi, etc.  I believe that this training and these experiences can be integrated in a useful way at this time.

For anyone who desires to listen, I would like to share some of my experiences as a spiritually awake female officer.  I would also love to engage in conversation with a community who is open to brainstorming together in answering the question, “What can WE do, really?”  I am a big believer in that where there is a will, there is a way.  I also believe that where 2 or more individuals are gathered with a sincere intent, anything can be accomplished.”
