House healing is often thought of as something that we either ask a feng shui practitioner to do for us or we undertake a version of it ourselves by smudging or ringing bells with the firm intention to clear a space of lodged energies to exorcise the past.
But house healing is more than that. Tim Walter, house healer and alternative life coach,  likes to break things down to their simplest form to understand the implications of what they mean to the process of experiencing life as a human being. He was introduced to house healing as a part of his spiritual journey that recognizably started in 1998.
One of the most significant aspects we look into when working on a house is what is called simply “earth energy”. Earth energy is a huge catch-all label for a number of mostly linear features that can be found in the subtle energy in which we live. It’s a geomagnetic all-pervading fluctuating field, created as a part of the earth similar to our auric field which is also an electrical field and a part of us.
As we will discuss in today’s conversation, some aspects of “earth energy” are the conduits for the energy of creation. They can be thought of as the “wires” that allow the signals we experience internally, in association with ‘the management upstairs’, in a magical feedback loop to manifest outwardly as our experience of the external environment. Known about since the birth of humankind, earth energy seems to be sentient fields of force that connect us all to the non-local (quantum) field of infinite possibility. Earth energy therefore is a crucial part of the mechanism of creating our reality. For those embarking on a spiritual journey communicating with these vortices of subtle creative power can be a significant step.
We flow with the information carried on these “wires” either consciously or unconsciously. We can interact with that energy of creation either from the point of view of our spiritual selves or from ego. What we experience is an ever-changing flow of possibility at different levels of interaction. We have some control in managing our choices when we are mindful, but we certainly don’t have total command. In house healing we ask the ‘management upstairs’ to take over control for the benefit of the individual or family that is being assisted. In so doing we help to reset that person’s experience of reality at a new vibration. House healing operates at a very simple, but fundamental level and as such it is a way for both the individual and the collective to recognize its true nature.

Spirit and Earth by Adrian Incledon-Webber and Tim Walter

With the exception of Feng Shui, ‘House Healing’ is not a widely accepted practice. This book has been written by two of the world’s most eminent practitioners in what has become known as modern Geomancy. Working with subtleties that can be accessed through meditation, mindfulness and dowsing this book shows how the power of focused intent can be harnessed to improve the relationship between humans, buildings, nature and Mother Earth in simple, practical ways. The authors have spent decades helping people subtly change the way they function in their homes and here they share their experience, knowledge and philosophy to illustrate how, by changing the perceptions of our lives through truly holistic thinking, we can create a sustained positive relationship with everything around us.

After 30 years in professional video, film, TV and conference production, primarily as a producer of high end corporate messaging, Tim now works as a house-healer and alternative life coach. In 1998 a simple house move led Tim and family to a life-changing encounter when they discovered they were sharing their new found home with a ghost. The disincarnate presence known simply as “Jane” was no ordinary ghost and taught Tim many new ways of seeing the world introducing him to the concept of earth energy. It was meeting author, metal worker, philanthropist and dowser, Hamish Miller that helped Tim discover dowsing as a simple way to access intuition and thereby work with these subtle energies for wellbeing.
Co-author of “Spirit & Earth – a handbook for modern holistic living” Tim hosts a successful YouTube channel on which he shares his experiences of the subtle realms and champions the intuitive art of dowsing as a first step to a grasping a practical spirituality. House healing is also a way of demonstrating this Gaia-based spiritual connection between the creative power of the non-local subtle energies and ourselves. In 2020 Tim established the KnightsRose House Healing Network and regularly trains people in the intuitive skill of house healing. It is not so much about re-balancing a specific place, as helping somebody harmonize their individual and utterly unique, universe.
