Panel Event: A Heart-Centered Activism
Theme
At this pivotal moment in our history, our approach to issues such as racism, economic injustice, political corruption and climate crisis will determine whether we sink ever deeper, perhaps irrevocably, into the divisive mindset that has promoted these abuses and the complacency that has enabled them – or shift into a new and higher expression of humanity characterized by compassion, equality and a determination to heal the inequities of our time. This is the danger, and the opportunity.

Buckminster Fuller wisely observed, “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

This new model begins within us, in the consciousness of the heart, which guides us to the inner shift from a fear-based, individualistic worldview to a love-based, humanitarian and sacred response to the many challenges we face: a heart-centered activism.
