In December of 2019, Shayn gave a talk to a group of Colorado healers who wanted a glimpse of the year ahead. He told them “Be prepared to see old structures and traditions shaken down and transformed!”
Shayn Smith, Ph.D. offers over 45 years experience in astrology, During the 1970’s, he hosted and guested on astrological radio shows in Buffalo, New York. Currently, Shayn practices Vedic and Western astrology in Boulder, Colorado. He studied with the late Professor VK Choudhry of Gurgaon, India, propounder of Systems; Approach to Vedic Astrology. He was conferred the honorary titles of Jyotish Kovid(learned astrologer) and Jyotish Visharad(experienced astrologer) from the Systems’ Institute of Hindi Astrology, India.
Shayn serves as a faculty member of the International Institute of Predictive Astrology and is President of the IIPA Colorado chapter. He teaches Vedic and Western astrology classes through the Boulder Lifelong Learning program.
Shayn has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and has taught at several colleges. He is Past-President of the Colorado Counseling Association.
